H19年度確定申告について　1）

今年も確定申告の時期がやってまいりました。

平成19年分の所得税の確定申告の税務署での相談・申告書の受付は、平成20年2月18日（月）からです。

給与所得者の方等で、医療費控除や住宅借入金等特別控除等の適用を受けて税金の還付を受ける場合は、平成20年2月15日（金）以前でも申告書を提出することができます。

また、通常税務署は土・日・祝は閉庁していますが、高松税務署は2/24と3/2の日曜日にも、確定申告の相談・申告書の受付を行っています。

今回は、平成19年度分の税制改正に伴い、注意しなければならない点をピックアップしてお知らせします。

■1）所得税の税率構造の改正がありました。

平成１９年度以降の住民税の税率の改正

所得税の税率構造の改正

 

・今までは所得に応じて5％、10％、13％の三段階であったものが、10％に一本化された
・所得税の最低税率を10％から5％に引き下げ、最高税率を37％から40％に引き上げた

上記２項目で調整され「所得税＋住民税」を合わせた税負担は、基本的に変わりません。

また、定率減税は平成１８年分の所得税をもって廃止されました。


■2）地震保険料控除が創設されました。

地震保険料を支払った場合には、その金額の合計額（最高５万円）を総所得金額等から控除することができるようになりました。

◇地震保険料とは？

地震保険とは、地震・噴火またはこれらによる津波を原因とする火災・損壊・埋没または流失による損害を補償する、地震災害専用の保険です。

この控除の対象となる地震保険料は下記のような特長があります。

・ 地震保険の対象は、本人または本人と生計を一にする親族の有する居住用の建物と家財（生活用動産）。

・ 火災保険でカバーされていない「地震を原因とする火災による損害」「地震により延焼・拡大した損害」に対して補償される、地震等損害部分の保険料等のことをいいます。
